Saying goodbye to a beloved friend is never easy. We understand this firsthand and want to help you through this difficult and emotional time in any way we can. Jack was our mascot at the Bellaire Animal Hospital for 17 years. He was rescued at a very young age and needed to be bottle fed when he first came to us. Since then he had grown up in our practice and loved greeting the clients at our reception desk. People loved to come in and just visit him. Everybody knew him as the big orange cat. He also liked his outdoor adventures catching rodents and bringing them back to us as presents. He would go visit the flower shop next door in the spring and get fed snacks like hot dogs. Unfortunately age caught up with Jack and at the end of last summer he crossed over the rainbow bridge. He is missed dearly by our staff and our other office cat “Torch” and also by all the clients that would come visit him. People will still ask about him now. He was a great cat that lived his life to the fullest and he will forever be in our hearts along with our clients’ hearts.
